Abstract | This study is an evaluation of the educational administration department at West Virginia University. A questionnaire used in a 1975 study was revised and sent to the same departmental graduates and also to their employers. Specific indicators of graduate education quality and relevance were used as was an analysis of the content and instruction of each course offered by the department. One result showed that Certificate of Advanced Studies and Doctor of Education program graduates were very satisfied with the department, primarily in content and instruction of advanced graduate and doctoral courses, program and dissertation advisement, program requirements and faculty availability. A recommendation was made that, when the next follow-up study is conducted, a separate questionnaire be developed and sent to the county school district superintendents for their evaluation of department graduates.
